I am the founder and director of PPM, with over 20 years in the industry. I've gained my knowledge through unique experiences.

I began my career as an apprentice at Canterbury Cathedral. As a plumber, I worked on water, drainage, ventilation, cooling, and heating systems in various buildings, including the Cathedral. This variety gave me experience with different plumbing systems from different time periods.

At the Cathedral, I redesigned the lead sills for the stained glass windows when I was 20. My design allowed for replacing the sills from inside the Cathedral, eliminating the need for scaffolding on the outside. This design is still in use today and has saved hundreds of thousands of pounds. During this time, I won awards and was featured in the news and local media.

I eventually went on to work for an engineering company, providing HVAC maintenance and covering defects in new buildings in London. I was struck by how little our competitors valued customer service and the quality of their maintenance. I felt it was our responsibility as professional engineers to help reduce energy use for our customers, a responsibility that seemed overlooked not only by maintenance companies but also by system designers. Often, it was difficult to perform proper maintenance, and some control systems led to high energy consumption for users. This motivated me to seek change.

I was asked to run their prefabrication division. This let me help design new mechanical and electrical systems and utility cupboards in apartment buildings across London. I made sure to include modern, efficient systems, provide good maintenance access, and offer user-friendly controls for the residents.

I found comfort in my positive impact on new developments in London, but there was still a shortage of maintenance companies focused on customer service and the reason we provide maintenance. To maintain reliability and efficiency . So, I started Pure Preventive Maintenance Ltd. Our mission is to reduce our customers energy consumption through the quality of our work while providing a high-end service to our customers. We lead by example and offer thorough training for our staff, ensuring they can give accurate and helpful advice.
